The Hearse

The Hearse

Our friends Sherryl & Bruce Noble took this great picture of Lana & me in front of The Beaver Creek Saloon on April 16th, 2004

This is from the Cruise Night Car Show in Kearney July 20th 2002. Linda Grimes sent me this shot, and since I didn't get any pictures of my own this year, I decided to put it here.

Here is my hearse the way it looked 4/18/2001. It was such a nice day that my son Clifford and me decided to get out of the house and do a little site-seeing (groan). The poor ol' car sure is dirty, but I wanted some shots of her and couldn't wait. I should be getting her buffed out and spiffed up for the summer car shows soon, so I'll take some better pics then.

Car Show 2001- I found a fellow hearse driver with a '69 S&S

This picture was taken 3/18/01, the one year anniversary of my wrecking this hearse. I had set the goal of getting the car completed by this date and I wanted a picture of it done. Scott Grimes, who painted her for me, still had one of the fender skirts out at his place, so I had him run it by on his way home. It was almost dark by the time he got here, but I wanted to take a few shots anyway. They didn't turn out very well, but this one had an interesting blur in the back seat, just below the glare of the flash. It kind of looks like a ghost, doesn't it?

Here's a few shots of the car in the transitional phase waiting for her new paint.
